MPC Audio Adapter (250-1099) Software Drivers Faxback Doc. # 2720 If you change the audio adapter jumpers that control the audio port address, interrupt, or DMA channel setting, you will need to update the audio drivers and the SET BLASTER command. CHANGING THE SET BLASTER COMMAND LINE The SET BLASTER command line is included in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. This command line enables you to control the volume of audio sources from the MS-DOS command line with SBP-MIX. The default command line is as follows: SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T4 The default command sets the audio port to 220H (A220), sets the audio interrupt to 7 (I7), and sets the audio DMA channel to 1 (D1). T4 sets the adapter type. Do not change the adapter type. If you change the audio adapter's audio port, audio interrupt, or audio DMA channel, use a test editor to open the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and update the A,I, and D command line options to reflect the new settings. Restart the computer after changing the SET BLASTER command line. CHANGING THE AUDIO DRIVER SETTINGS To change the settings of the audio driver. 1.
