Cordless Mouse (250-2006) Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 2772 With AC Adapter CLEANING THE CORDLESS MOUSE The mouse might pick up some dust or lint after prolonged use. If the on- screen pointer (mouse cursor) is not moving smoothly, follow these steps to clean the mouse. 1. Turn off the mouse. 2. Turn the mouse upside down. 3. Rotate the ball housing's cap clockwise, and then lift it off. 4. Turn the mouse over, and drop the ball out into your hand. 5. Use a soft cloth to wipe the ball and roller. Never use cleaning fluid, solvents, a tissue, or anything that might leave lint. 6. Blow gently into the ball housing to remove any dust or lint that might have collected there. 7. Replace the ball. 8. Align the three tabs on the cap with the three holes on the ball housing, then turn the cap counterclockwise to lock it in place. Make sure it is securely locked. 9. Turn on the mouse, and reset the computer. (LB/all-9/14/94)
