SETUP FOR NON ROM COMPUTERS:

Use Tandy MS-DOS 3.3 to run setup and choose appropriate fixed drive type.   
For the (25-4123) Smart Drive use type 17 for 40MB.

NOTE: The below listed CPU's are BIOS version dependent.  MAKE SURE you have 
the correct utility disk for the BIOS or the machine may not be bootable 
without service center intervention.  If you have upgraded the BIOS ROM You 
may need to obtain a SETUP disk along with the BIOS ROM upgrade to use with 
the below listed.

3000NL (25-4072)  
4000A  (25-5000A) 
4000LX (25-5100) 

SETUP FOR (primary drive) 2500 SERIES COMPUTERS:

2500XL change the following

start up device        DISK
auto deskmate          DISABLED
Hard disk 0            17   
Save Eeprom changes

2500XL/2
start up device        DISK
hard disk 0            17
Save eeprom changes

You are now ready to proceed with FDISK.
