Note: When you use IRQ channel 3 or 4, run the computer's SETUP program to disable the serial/modem ports. If you need to use these ports, select a channel other than 3 or 4 on your board. * Video Adapters: When you install a video card in the docking station, it takes precedence over the computer's video adapter. * Serial Ports: When you install a serial board, it takes precedence over the computer's serial port if you have both ports set to the same COM setting. * Unsupported Boards: Memory adapters, coprocessed boards, and bus mastered boards are not sup- ported with the docking station. The connectors on the back of the docking station duplicate the connectors on the back and side of your computer. You use these connectors to connect a mouse, external keyboard, printer, VGA monitor, or other equipment to your computer. Note: When you connect a device that has a power switch, turn on the device before you turn on the docking station or the computer, and turn off the device after you turn off the computer and the docking station.
