Changing the Default Shell

When adding a Windows application into the Advantage!, the default shell
must be changed from the AST Works desktop to the Windows Program Manager.

Following are the steps to change the default shell:

1.  Go to the AST Works Desktop.

2.  Click on "File".

3.  Click on the "Desktop as Shell".

    This will toggle the default shell between the AST Works desktop and
    the Windows Program Manager.  If there is a check by this option, then
    the AST Works desktop is the default shell.  If there is not, the
    Program Manager is the default shell.

4.  Click on "OK".  The next time Windows is started, the Program Manager
    will be the default shell.

Any Windows applications that have been added will run properly.

To continue booting to the AST Works desktop, follow these steps:

1.  From the Program Manager, open both the "AST Works" group and the
    "StartUp" group.

2.  While holding down the <Ctrl> key, drag the "Desktop" icon from the
    "AST Works" group to the "StartUp" group.

3.  Close both the "AST Works" and "StartUp" groups.

The next time Windows is started, the Program Manager will be loaded as
the default shell, then the AST Works desktop will appear.
