Use CUT to properly align the perforation to the tear-off position so you
can tear off the paper more easily. This function works best when you
properly set the print position at the top of the form.

1. Press ON/OFF LINE until the ON/OFF LINE indicator lights.

2. Press CUT to advance the fanfold paper perforation to the tear-off
   position.

3. Flip up the paper rack cover and tear off the fanfold paper.

4. Press CUT to retract the paper to the original position.

Notes:

* The paper automatically retracts in one minute even if you do not press
  CUT.

* CUT works only when the printer is not receiving data from the computer.

* You can advance the paper using LF/FF when the paper is at the tear-off
  position.

* If the printer receives data while the paper is at the tear-off position,
  the printer automatically feeds the paper backwards and starts printing.
