DMP-136 (260-2868) Using Autopark Faxback Doc. # 4035 The paper parking feature lets you load an use single sheet paper without removing fanfold paper from the tractor. When you use paper parking, the fanfold paper retracts from the print head so that it is no longer touching the platen (fanfold paper remains in the tractor). The tractor feeds fanfold paper back to the print head and platen when you advance the paper to the TOF position. NOTE: To park the paper, the printer must be operating in the push-tractor mode. To park the fanfold paper, do the following: 1. Remove any previously printed sheets of fanfold paper by tearing off the last sheet at its perforation. 2. Be sure the printer is off line. Then, press PARK/LOAD. The paper re- tracts to the parked position. NOTES: * The PAPER OUT indicator lights when the paper is parked. * The paper might not reach the parked position if it had previously been advanced too far. In this case, repeatedly press PARK/LOAD until the paper moves to the parked position. (dtc-08/06/93)
