Using the Hex Dump Function:

This function lets you see the raw data being sent to the printer from the
computer. It is sometimes useful in troubleshooting print problems. All 
values are printed as hexadecimal values.

1. Place paper in the multipaper cassette.

2. Hold down FUNCTION and SET while you power on the printer.

3. The printer displays HEX DUMP. When you print from your computer, the
   printer prints the hexadecimal values of the received data.

4. Turn off the printer to exit the hex dump mode.
