Turn the power switch off. (The print head is capped automatically.) 2. Turn the battery switch off. 3. Remove the interface cable and AC adapter. If the NiCad battery has been loaded, remove it, too. CAUTION: Do not remove the Tandy Jet cartridge. Ink may leak from the print head cap and the head may dry out. 4. Place the printer in its original carton, making sure that it is well cushioned with shock absorbing materials. Transporting the Printer: When transporting the printer, pay attention to the following. 1. Remove the interface cable and the AC adapter. (Leave the Tandy Jet cartridge installed in the printer.) 2. Remove the auto sheet feeder if it is installed. 3. Place the printer and the AC adapter in a suitable carrying case. 4. If you will be traveling to another country, make sure the AC adapter matches the power requirements of the country. It is recommended to bring fully charged battery packs when traveling abroad. Note: When you move the printer, set the battery switch to the OFF position. It is not necessary to remove the battery pack when you move the printer. (jej 04/26/94)
