This feature lets you print the hexadecimal information the computer sends 
to the printer.  You can use this feature as a diagnostic tool when you 
have problems with the computer or the software.

Follow these steps to use the hex dump features.

1.  Load 8.5-inch wide paper.

2.  Press QUIET/SAVE while you set POWER.  The display shows HEX DUMP, and 
    the printer prints one line to indicate it is hex dump mode.

3.  Send the print command from your computer.

4.  Set POWER to OFF to end the hex dump mode.
