The Tandy DMP-204 Dot-Matrix is a high-density, dot-matrix printer that can
print in a variety of type styles.

Your printer has the following features:

* Proportionally-spaced characters
* Monospaced characters (standard, condensed, and compressed)
* LQ (letter quality) correspondence characters
* Superscript/Subscript
* Bold
* Underline
* Italics
* Graphics (standard and high-resolution)
* Seven colors with an optional color ribbon (26-2900)

Other features include the following:

* Automatic paper loading
* Paper park
* Margin set
* Super-speed draft mode
* Font and pitch selection via hardware
* Hex dump function
* Lightweight--weighs only 9.5 pounds

You can use two types of paper with the printer:

* Tractor-fed, 4 1/2 to 10" computer fanfold paper with guide holes
* Friction-fed, single-sheet paper

If you use software that lets you select any of the following printer
drivers, you control most printing functions through the software:

* Tandy DMP-204 or DMP-240
* EPSON LQ-850 with color support
* EPSON LQ-2500 with color support

If you use software that does not let you specify printing information, you
can manually control several printing functions.

The printer's function switches affect four printing functions. The factory
settings for the function switches are appropriate for most situations.
