Use this function to properly align the perforation with the paper cutter so
you can easily tear the paper. This function works best when you set the
print position at the top of the form.

1. Press ON/OFF LINE so the ON/OFF LINE indicator turns on.

2. Press CUT to advance the fanfold paper to the tear-off position. The
   perforation aligns with the paper cutter.

3. Flip up the soundproof cover and tear off the fanfold paper.

4. Press CUT to retract the paper to the original position.

Notes:

* The paper automatically retracts in 1 minute even if you do not press CUT.

* The cut function only works when the printer is not receiving data from
  the computer.

* You can advance the paper using LF/FF when the paper is at the tear-off
  position.

* When the printer receives data while the paper is at the tear-off
  position, the printer feeds the paper back and starts printing.
