DMP 2110 (260-2810) Features Faxback Doc. # 4338 The DMP-2110 is a high-density, dot-matrix printer which can perform a variety of different printing operations. For instance, it can print: * Correspondence characters (monospaced and proportional spaced). * Standard characters (monospaced). * Condensed characters (monospaced). * Graphics characters. For maximum efficiency, the DMP-2110 operates in three modes: * Data Processing Mode for fastest output of program listings or data. * Word Processing Mode for letter-writing of the creation of any text documentation. * Graphics Mode (regular and high-resolution) for drawing pictures, figures, or graphs. For word or data processing, you will find the DMP-2110's Correspondence or Proportional spaced characters (created on a variable n x 24 dot matrix) can produce letter-quality results. If, however, you need a print-out that is produced faster, Standard char- acters (created on a 9 x 24 dot matrix) are just the thing for you! In the regular Graphics Mode, you can use graphic data with a 3 x 3 dot- matrix to draw just about any type of graphic configuration you desire. In addition, the DMP-2110 has the ability to print high-resolution dot image graphics command and a 2/15" line feed command which can be used in any of the three modes. With your DMP-2110, you can create your own font pattern for each of the 159 character codes and store this pattern as a font. The function which allows you this capability is called Down Line Loading (DLL). With the versatile DMP-2110, you can determine not only character style and printing mode, but you can also select the code set (control code sequence) and character set.
