The DMP-240 is a high-density dot matrix printer that is capable of perform-
ing a variety of different printing operations:

* Proportionally-spaced characters
* Monospaced characters (standard, condensed, compressed)
* Letter-quality characters
* Italic characters
* Super/Subscript
* Graphics--standard and high-resolution
* Printing in seven colors with an optional color ribbon (260-2826)

Epson or IBM emulation is determined by either the options you choose in 
the setup menu (see "Using the Setup Menu") or the macro you select (see
"Using Macros").

You can use two types of paper with the printer:

* Tractor-fed 4 to 10" computer fanfold forms with guide holes
* Friction-fed, single-sheet typewriter paper

Other features include:

* Underline capability
* Automatic paper loading
* Margin-set function
* Top-panel control of various printer features
