The DMP-2102 is a high-density, dot matrix printer that performs a variety
of printing operations. The DMP-2102 prints:

* Proportionally spaced characters

* Monospaced characters (standard, condensed, compressed)

* Letter Quality characters

* Italic characters

* Super/Subscript

* Graphics--standard and high-resolution

The printer operates in three modes:

* Data processing/draft mode for quick output or program listings or data

* Word processing/LQ mode for letter writing or creating text documentation

* Graphics mode (regular/high-resolution) for drawing pictures, figures, or  
  graphs

With your versatile printer, you can select either:

* Tandy code set

* Code set for IBM Proprinter XL24

and either:

* Tandy character set or

* IBM character set

You can use two types of paper with the printer:

* Tractor-fed, 3 to 16" fanfold forms with guide holes

* Friction-fed, single-sheet typewriter paper

Other features include:

* Full or half-line feed and 3/4 or 4/5 line feed

* Underline capability

* Quiet print mode that reduces the noise level during printing

* Paper park feature that allows you to change paper types without having
  to remove the fanfold paper from the printer

* Automatic paper loading

* Margin-set function

* Front-panel control of various printer features

* Form-tear-off function to advance the paper to the tearing position after
  it is printed

* Optional Tandy sheet feeder (26-2816)
