To run the self-test:

1. Plug the printer into an AC power outlet.

2. Set the ON-LINE/OFF-LINE Switch to OFF-LINE.

3. Press and hold the RESTART Switch.

4. Set the Power ON/OFF Switch to ON.

The Printer will begin printing rolling ASCII 96 characters, according to 
the Font Style Selection Switch (Rotary Switch).

5. Printing will continue until you turn the power OFF.
