2400 BPS Internal Modem (250-1037) Features Faxback Doc. # 4693 ATTENTION: XENIX AND 3COM USERS XENIX and 3COM use DTR (Data Transmission Ready) to turn the modem on and off. Upon power-up or when the modem receives the ATZ command, it defaults to &D0, which means the modem ignores DTR. You must enable the &D2 command in your modem so that DTR can hang up the phone. When DTR is disasserted, the modem goes on-hook and assumes command upon detecting an on-to-off transition on DTR. (smm 07/28/93)
