DMP 310 (26-2876) Features Faxback Doc. # 4707 The Tandy DMP-310 Dot-Matrix Printer is a high-density, dot matrix printer that can print in a variety of type styles. Its simple, flat, lightweight design and battery power option make it the ideal printer for use with a laptop computer or in homes and businesses with small work areas. Your printer can print the following: * Proportionally-spaced characters * Monospaced characters (standard, condensed, and compressed) * Superscript/subscript * Bold * Underline * Graphics (standard and high-resolution) Your printer has two paper-loading options. You can stack up to 30 single sheets of 20 pound paper in the paper cassette. For thicker paper or multi-copy forms, you can manually feed one sheet at a time. Your printer also has two power options. The AC power pack is installed at the factory for use with standard AC power. For portable operation you can remove the AC power pack and install a custom battery holder with two rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries. If you use software that lets you select any of the following printer drivers, you control most printing functions through the software: * Tandy DMP 310 * IBM Proprinter X24e * IBM Proprinter X24 * IBM Proprinter * IBM Graphics Printer If you use software that does not let you specify printing information, you can manually control the printer through controls on the printer's front panel and function switches on the bottom of the printer. Function switches on the bottom of the printer affect many printing functions. The factory settings for the function switches are appropriate for most situations.
