DMP 310 (26-2876) Using the Hex Dump Feature Faxback Doc. # 4708 This feature lets you print the hexadecimal information the computer sends to the printer. You can use this feature as a diagnostic tool when you have problems with the computer of the software. Follow these steps to use the hex dump feature. 1. Load paper in the paper cassette. See "Using the Paper Cassette." 2. While you hold down ON LINE|OFF LINE, set POWER to | (on). When the ON LINE indicators lights, release ON LINE|OFF LINE. 3. Send the print command from your computer. NOTE: The last part of the computer file might remain in the printer's buffer. When the computer stops printing, press ON LINE|OFF LINE so that the ON LINE indicator turns off. Then, press ON LINE|OFF LINE so that the ON LINE indicator lights. This prints any information remaining in the printer's buffer. 4. Set POWER to O (off) to exit the hex dump mode. (dkh-07/27/93)
