The 40 MB Hard Disk Drive is an internal fixed disk storage device for the 
Tandy 3000 and Tandy 4000 computers. The Hard Disk Drive significantly 
increases the storage capacity of your computer. All the computers in the 
Tandy 3000/4000 series can support one or two hard disk drives.

Note that to support a hard disk, your system must include a Hard Disk 
Controller board. This board is provided as a standard feature in the Tandy 
3000 HD. The Hard Disk Controller board (250-4060) or the Hard Disk Only 
Controller board (250-4058) is available as an option for the Tandy 4000, 
Tandy 3000 and Tandy 3000 HL. You should install this hard disk drive and 
any other internal disk drive you are adding to your computer before you 
install the Hard Disk Controller board.

instructions on storing and accessing your programs on hard disk.
