CABLE CONNECTIONS

When connecting the cable to the External Disk Drive and your computer, you 
will now need to connect the ground leads of the cable. Be sure that you 
disconnect the computer's power cord from the power source before you make 
the connections.

Check that the cable end you connect to the computer is the end near the 
toroid.

1. Connect the cable end near the toroid to the EXTERNAL DRIVE connector on   
   the computer's ground lead.

2. Plug the other end of the cable into the disk drive's connector and 
   attach the ground leads.
