The 40/80-megabyte internal SCSI hard disk drive requires BIOS ROM Version 
01.03.01 or greater and DOS Version 3.3 or greater.  To find out which
version BIOS ROM your system is using, follow the steps below:

1.  Be sure the equipment is connected properly.

2.  Turn on the computer.  The screen displays:

    BIOS ROM VERSION XX.XX.XX
    COPYRIGHT (C) 1985,1986,1987
    AND PHOENIX TECHNOLOGIES, LTD.
    ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
    LICENSED TO TANDY CORPORATION

3.  Look at the numbers on the right side of the first line (XX.XX.XX above)
    to determine the version of your system's BIOS ROM.

If these requirements are met, run FDISK followed by FORMAT to initialize
the hard disk drive.  Refer to your DOS manual for more details on the
FDISK and FORMAT commands.
