And, if you are drawing graphics, it is easy to move in a circular pattern with the mouse. The two buttons at the top of the mouse can be used to make selections on the screen. Refer to the manual supplied with each application programs for button functions. CARE AND MAINTENANCE * Do not drop the mouse. * Be sure to place a mouse pad or a clean sheet of paper between the mouse and the flat surface. Dirt and grit can collect on the ball on the bottom of the mouse and mar the flat surface. * Do not roll the mouse through any type of liquid. To clean the ball, turn the mouse upside down. Put two fingers on the rigid portions of the ball retainer and turn the retainer counterclockwise so that the arrow points to the "O." Hold one hand over the mouse, turn it over, and gently tap it. The ball and retainer drop into your hand. Wipe the ball with a clean, soft, and dry lint-free cloth. Return the ball to its housing an replace the cover. Lock the cover by turning it clockwise so that the arrow points to the "C." (css 07/30/93)
