SL/TL and the 250-1087 1.2 MB Floppy Drive     HELPFUL HINTS

1. Install a 250-4025 or 250-4025A with the parallel port configured as LPT3
   into an available slot in the SL/TL series computer.

2. To use the external 1.2MB Floppy Drive on the SL/TL series computers just
   add LPT2 to the end of the driver statement in your config.sys after
   running EXTSETUP.  Next reboot.  Now you can use the high density 5.25
   drive.  Driver statement should look like this device=\extdrvr.sys LPT2

4800HD and 4860HD with the 250-1087 1.2 MB Floppy Drive     HELPFUL HINTS

The 250-1087 external floppy drive will not work properly on the 4800HD or
the 4860HD until you have loaded emm386.exe in your config.sys file.  The
syntax of the command is:  device=c:\dos\emm386.exe.
