TANDY FAXMATE USER'S GUIDE #2 of 2: ADDENDUM VERSION 2.13H ONLY If you are using a Tandy computer that has a 5 1/4" floppy disk drive, in- stall the FaxMate program as described in the Installation section of your User's Guide. The disks are labeled 1,2,3, and 4. If you are using a Tandy computer that has a 3 1/2" floppy disk drive you will notice that there are only two disks, labeled disk 1 and disk 2. The difference in the number of disks is due to the fact that 3 1/2" disks hold more data. Therefore, disk 1 contains the file information found on the 5 1/4" disks 1 and 2, and disk 2 contains the file information found on the 5 1/4" disks 3 and 4. During the program installation you will be prompted to remove disk 1 and insert disk 2. If you are using 3 1/2" diskettes DO NOT remove disk 1, simply press ENTER to access the disk 2 data. When you are prompted to remove disk 2 and replace it with disk 3, insert the 3 1/2" disk 2. Then press enter when you are prompted to insert disk 4. FAX MESSAGE DISPLAY A message (FAX) blinks on the screen when you receive a fax while you are using the CFAX application, and at the DOS prompt. If you receive a fax while you are using DeskMate, the message does not display until you exit the program. An audible beep sounds to notify you while you are in DeskMate when a fax has been received. We recommend you exit DeskMate periodically to check for incoming fax messages. VIEWING A FAX From the View menu, you can zoom, flip and rotate received faxes. When you select Rotate or Flip it takes a few moments to process the data. A message displays letting you know it will take a while to rotate the page whether you select Rotating or Flipping the image. Zoom, flip and rotate received faxes.
