The Dual Port Serial Board is plugged into an expansion slot on the system
board (the motherboard) of your personal computer. The motherboard is the
main circuit board of your microcomputer. It contains, in part, the micro-
processor of the computer, and expansion slots for the addition of more
memory capacity and peripheral units.

The Dual Port Serial Board can be plugged into any available expansion slot
in a Tandy 1000, 1200 HD, 3000, or compatible computer. The Dual Port Serial
Board lets you connect a variety of devices to your system.

* Modems--for communication with other computers over telephone lines
* Serial Printers--For letter quality printing
* Mouse--for use with special software programs
* Plotters--for producing charts and graphs
* Other asynchronous communication devices
