Several DOS and Windows applications are provided with your Sound Blaster
Pro package. (For a detailed description of the applications provided, 
refer to "Sound Blaster Pro User Reference Manual".)  If you have Windows 
3.1 and have not installed it, it is advisable that you install it before 
installing your Sound Blaster Pro software.

To install Sound Blaster Pro software:

1.  Insert Sound Blaster Pro Disk #1 in your disk drive.
2.  Change to the disk drive prompt A: or B:.
3.  Type INSTALL and press <ENTER>.
4.  Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

NOTE: The installation program creates a directory named \SBPRO to store 
      the software provided.

When you run the installation program, it installs the DOS applications 
onto the hard disk. It also allows you to add a command that runs the
WINSETUP.EXE program to the WIN.INI file.  The program automatically sets 
up the Sound Blaster Pro audio drivers and Windows applications when you 
next run Windows.

If you choose not to add the command to the WIN.INI file during the instal-
lation program, you can set up the Sound Blaster Pro audio drivers and Win-
dows applications yourself by running WINSETUP (see Appendix E).
