Disk Controller

Check the Hard Disk Controller board and confirm that pins E2-E3 are jumpered.
(No jumper is required for pins E4-E5 and E6-E7.)

1.  E2-E3 should be jumpered.
2.  Verify that the cables are in properly.  If they are in backwards
    it could cause the following problems:
    A-In the newer boards it will blow a pico fuse (small fuse on the
      board which looks like a resistor).
    B-In the older boards it will blow components on the controller.

NOTE: This board should be installed by an authorized Radio Shack Repair
Center.
