The 286 Express Card substitutes the same state-of-the-art Intel 80286
processor used in the Tandy 1000 TX and IBM PC AT for the much slower Intel
8088 that came with your computer. The 80286 processor dramatically increases
the operating speed of your system and lets you work faster and more
efficiently. By doubling the performance of you computer, it provides an easy
and inexpensive way to bring your system up-to-date.

The 286 Express Card also features memory caching, a technique that speeds up
program execution by eliminating time-consuming system memory fetch cycles.
