To run the Self-Test:

1. Plug the Printer into an AC power outlet.

2. Press and hold the RESTART Switch.

3. Set the Power ON/OFF Switch to ON.

The Self-Test cycle consists of 55 lines at 6 LPI containing all printable
characters in all font styles. Normal width characters, elongated width
characters and bit image patterns are printed on lines not to exceed 8 
inches in length.

At the conclusion of the Self-Test cycle, the paper is advanced to the 
first line on the next form, and the Printer is made ready for use by the 
operator.
