Your Tandy Parallel Port Extension Kit uses a modular cord to send data
in parallel format up to 1200 feet without any loss of printer speed.  It
connects a PC-compatible computer with a parallel printer or a sharing
device, such as a data switch or printer buffer.

The extension kit's energy-saving, compact design does not require any
external power supply, making your office planning easier.  Other
features of the extension kit include:

-DIFFERENTIAL VOLTAGE SIGNAL SYSTEM - Used for long distance transmission
 to ensure good immunity to common mode noise.

-SPARE DC-IN JACK - Allows you to connect the extension kit to power, if
 the power provided by the computer, printer, or sharing device is not
 enough for stable data transmission.

Your Tandy Parallel Port Extension Kit contains the following items:

-The receiver unit marked TO PRINTER with a 36-pin Centronics connector
 for direct connection to your printer or sharing device.

-The transmitter unit marked TO COMPUTER with a DB-25 male connector for
 connection to your computer.

-50-foot 4-conductor modular cord.
