You can plug all your computer system units including monitors, printers, and the CPU into the Power Center outlets, and turn your entire system on or off with the press of a single switch. Other special features include: -Auto-sense power switch with adjustable sensitivity. -Full external and internal noise filtration in four isolated segments. -Varistor spike protection with status lamp. DESCRIPTION AUTO SENSE 240W OUTLET - Plug any device into this outlet. The auto-sense circuit detects when this device is turned on or off and it turns all the other outlets on or off, accordingly. SURGE INDICATOR - When the Deluxe Power Center is plugged into an electrical outlet, the SURGE indicator lights to let you know that the spike protection circuit is working. If a large surge occurs, the protection is no longer available. Without this protection, additional surges could damage any device plugged into the unit. Take the Power Center to your nearest Radio Shack store to arrange for repairs to this important circuitry. 10-AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH RESET BUTTON - If you exceed the recommended current rating, the red circuit breaker pops out. To restart your system, simply push the button back in. If this button pops out again, something plugged into the Power Center is drawing too much current. Check that the maximum wattage of each device plugged into the Power Center does not exceed the maximum wattage for each outlet. Each single outlet has a maximum wattage of 240 watts, one of the two-pair outlets has a combined power rating of 240 watts, and the remaining pair has a combined power rating of 480 watts. CAUTION: DO NOT exceed the specified wattages for each outlet (or combination of outlets) in the Deluxe Power Center. Refer to the wattage labels on the tap cover of the unit next to the outlets.
