CONNECTING THE PRINTER TO A COMPUTER:

Before making any connections between the printer and the computer, be sure 
they are both turned off.

Select the correct computer-to-printer cable from the following list.

*NOTE:  If you do not have one of the above computers, consult your
        computer's user's guide or the computer's manufacturer for the
        appropriate cable.

TO CONNECT THE PRINTER TO THE COMPUTER:

1)  Plug the cable's connector not the computer's printer connector.
    For instructions, see your computer's owner's manual.

*NOTE:  Do not force the cable's connectors.   If a connector does
        not fit, try the cable's other connector or turn over the
        connector.


2)  Plug the cable's other end into the connector on the side of the
    printer.  Close the latches to secure the connector.
