To Install the Drivers on Drive A: 1. Boot your computer. 2. Place the DRIVERS disk in Drive B. If you have only one floppy disk drive, use for both Drive A and Drive B. 3. Type: B: to make Drive B the current drive. Press . 4. Type: installf press . 5. Follow the displayed instructions. To Install the Drivers on Drive C: 1. Boot your computer as usual. 2. Place the DRIVERS disk in Drive A. 3. Type: A: to make Drive A the current drive. Then, press . 4. Type: installh and press . 5. Follow the displayed instructions. Manual Software Installation: Follow these steps to manually install the software. Note: Manual installation requires some knowledge of MS-DOS commands and procedures. 1. Copy FP.SYS from the DRIVERS disk into the boot disk's root directory or into a subdirectory. 2. Copy FP.EXE from the DRIVERS disk into any directory that is in the DOS path. 3. Add the following statement to your CONFIG.SYS file: DEVICE="path"\FP.SYS where "path" is the subdirectory you copied FP.SYS into in Step 1. 4. If your CONFIG.SYS file contains any other statements that load screen device drivers, such as DEVICE=ANSI.SYS (the DOS screen driver), remove all such statements so that FP.SYS operates correctly. 5. Reboot your computer so the configuration change can take effect.
