Dialing Manually

1.  Set ON/OFF to ON.  The POWER/BATTERY LOW indicator lights.

2.  Set STORE/DIAL to DIAL.

3.  Place the dialer's rubber ring against the phone's mouth-piece.

4.  Dial the desired numbers on the dialer's keypad.

      NOTE:  If you want to use an alternate long distance service (or
             other computer-based service) from a rotary or pulse-dialing
             phone, you must use the phone's dial to call the service's
             local number.  Then you can use the tone dialer to
             communicate with the service's computer.  You cannot use the
             tone dialer to directly dial a number from a phone that does
             not have tone service.
