Model 129 (160-0829) Dubbing Faxback Doc. # 6299 To copy a tape from the camcorder to another VCR, do the following. 1. Set AV IN/EDIT/AV OUT to AV OUT. 2. Connect the audio/video cable's yellow plug to the camcorder's VIDEO jack and white plug to the AUDIO jack on the camcorder. 3. Connect the other end of the audio/video cable to the VCR's input Jacks - the yellow plug to the video and the white plug to the audio. 4. If the VCR is stereo, use a Y-adapter (Cat. No. 42-2435) to connect the white plug to both audio inputs. 5. Set the VCR to the audio/video mode. Some VCRs have a manual input- select switch - others automatically sense when you connect to the audio/video input jacks. 6. Play the tape on the camcorder to locate the segment you want to copy then press PAUSE/STILL on the camcorder. 7. Set the camcorder's AV IN/EDIT/AV OUT switch to EDIT. 8. Begin recording on the recording VCR, and press PAUSE/STILL on the camcorder to begin playback. You can monitor the dubbing on the TV connected to your VCR. See the VCR's owner's manual. When you finish dubbing, set the AV IN/EDIT/AV OUT switch to AV OUT. DUBBING TO THE CAMCORDER Dubbing copies a tape to the camcorder from another VCR. 1. Set AV IN/EDIT/AV OUT to AV IN. 2. Connect the audio/video cable's yellow plug to the camcorder's VIDEO jack and white plug to the AUDIO jack. 3. Connect the other ends of the audio/video cable to your VCR's audio and video output jacks - the yellow plug to video and the white plug to audio. 4. Slide the power switch to VCR so the power indicator lights. 5. Insert a cassette into the camcorder 6. Press RECORD. 7. Begin playback on the VCR or other component. 8. Press STOP to stop recording. The focus, fade, self-timer, backlight/gain-up, white balance, and shutter speed features have no effect on this type of recording. (BR/all-07/13/94)
