The Radio Shack TRC-464 40-Channel 2-Way CB Radio is a compact, mobile
Citizen's Band transceiver.  The CB has 40-channel PLL (Phase-Locked
Loop) tuning that uses a single crystal for reliability and accuracy.

The TRC-464 has a digital display with backlit volume, squelch, and
channel controls.  You can use this CB in a vehicle, or use it as a base
station in your home by adding an optional DC power supply and base
station antenna.

The CB also includes these features:

Four Watts of Transmit Power - Gives you full legal power output for
                               maximum range and transmission clarity.

    Automatic Noise Limiting
               (ANL) Circuit - Reduces noise caused by nearby electrical
                               equipment such as motors or automotive
                               ignition systems.

     Digital Channel Display - Lets you see the channel you select.

  Hysteresis Squelch Circuit - Compensates for fading signals and
                               eliminates signal chopping during
                               reception.

         Remote Speaker Jack - Lets you connect an external speaker to
                               the CB.

         Two Ceramic Filters - Gives the CB more freedom from
                               interference from nearby channels.

  Universal Mounting Bracket - Lets you mount the CB securely in your
                               vehicle or on a table or shelf in your
                               home.
