The predefined currency symbols are: $-Dollar, English Pound, DM-German Mark, Japanese Yen, Pt-Spanish Pesta, Fr.-French Franc. You must set the exchange rate for each currency. SETTING THE EXCHANGE RATES Follow these steps to set the currency exchange rate. 1. Press MODE to display the currency mode. 2. Select the currency you want to set a rate for. Press EDIT. Enter the exchange rate. 3. Press EDIT to store the exchange rate. 4. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 to enter exchange rates for other currencies. NOTE: You can use 7 and 8 to store exchange rates for currencies other than those provided. CONVERTING CURRENCY Follow these steps to convert currencies. 1. Press MODE to display the currency mode. 2. Press the number for the currency you want to convert to. 3. Enter the amount of currency you want to convert. 4. Press =. For example, to convert 50 US dollars to English pounds with an exchange rate of 1 dollar = 0.56 pound, enter .56 as the exchange rate. Press MODE to select the currency mode. Press 2 to select pounds. Enter 50 and press = to convert to pounds. NOTE: To reverse the exchange, press daylight saving key.
