Follow these steps to convert between English and metric measurements

1.  Press MODE to display the metric conversion mode.  You see four
    types of conversions.  Press down arrow to view the other four
    types.

2.  Choose the conversion you want by pressing the number that
    corresponds to the conversion.  For example, press 1 to convert from
    inches to centimeters.

NOTE:  To convert centimeters to inches, press 1 then press daylight
       saving key.

3.  Enter the amount you want to convert, then press =.  The display
    shows the converted result.

NOTE:  Always press MODE to return to the metric conversion mode before
       you convert other kinds of measurements.
