                 Month/Hour Key - Press to enter months or hours.  In the
                                  calculator mode, converts between
                                  decimal hours and hours-minutes-seconds
                                  notation.

                Minute/Date Key - Press to enter minutes or dates.

                       Time Key - Press to enter the clock mode.  In the
                                  clock mode, press and hold to enter the
                                  time-setting mode.

                  Alarm Set Key - Press to enter the alarm-setting mode.
                                  In the alarm-setting mode, press to set
                                  the alarm time.

                      Timer Key - Press to enter the timer mode.  In the
                                  timer mode, press to start the timer.

        Decimal Point/AM-PM Key - In the calculator mode, press to enter a
                                  decimal point.  In the time-setting or
                                  alarm-setting mode, press to switch
                                  between AM and PM.

          Equals/12-24 Hour Key - In the calculator mode, press to display
                                  the calculation result.  In the time-
                                  setting mode, press to switch between
                                  12-hour and 24-hour display formats.

Multiplication/Alarm On/Off Key - In the calculator mode, press to perform
                                  multiplication. In the alarm-setting
                                  mode, press to turn the alarm on/off.

              Subtraction/Time
              Signal On/Off Key - In the calculator mode, press to
                                  perform subtraction.  In the alarm-
                                  setting mode, press to turn the
                                  hourly time signal on/off.

        Addition/Alarm Test Key - In the calculator mode, press to perform
                                  addition.  In the alarm-setting mode,
                                  press and hold to hear the alarm sound.

           Division/Hourly
           Time Signal Test Key - In the calculator mode, press to
                                  perform division.  In the alarm-
                                  setting mode, press and hold to
                                  hear the hourly time signal chime.

                   Reset Button - Press to reset the EC-2026's display
                                  after replacing the battery, or when the
                                  EC-2026 is locked up because of a strong
                                  electrostatic charge.

Caution:  Pressing RESET clears the memory contents and resets the clock.
