Set the correct time and date before using the EC-2026 for the first
time.  We recommend you confirm the time and date with a valid source,
such as the radio or TV.  This ensures that the alarm(s) will sound at
the correct time.

Notes:

  If you make an error, press C and enter the correct setting.

  If you enter an invalid number (65 for minutes, for example), E appears
  on the display.  Press C to clear it.

  To stop setting the time and date at any point, press AC.

  The clock does not observe leap year.  Be sure to correct the date in
  leap years.

In this example, the time and date are set to 10:25 PM, June 15.

1.  Press TIME to display the current time.

2.  Hold down TIME for about two seconds until the clock's hands flash.

3.  Enter the hour, then press HOUR.

4.  Press AM/PM to select AM or PM.  Each time you press AM/PM, the
    setting switches between AM and PM.

Or, you can set the clock to the 24-hour format.  Press to switch between
the 12-hour and 24-hour formats.  AM/PM disappears when you set the clock
to the 24-hour format.

5.  Enter the minute, then press MIN.

6.  While the month setting flashes, enter the month, then press HOUR.

7.  While the date setting flashes, enter the date, then press MIN.

8.  When you finish setting the correct time and date, press TIME to
    start the clock.  The seconds begin counting from 00, and the analog
    clock begins to move in time with the digital clock.
