The Radio Shack TAD-512 is an easy-to-use telephone answering device
(TAD) that offers several practical features for your convenience.

          Remote Operation - Lets you operate the TAD from any touch-tone
                             phone.

Programmable Security Code - Lets you set your own security code (111 to
                             444) for remote operation.

             Announce-Only - Lets you give information to callers without
                             recording their messages.

                       VOX - Saves tape by resetting the TAD if it does
                             not detect a caller's voice within 7
                             seconds.

            Call Screening - Lets you hear the caller leave a message.

          Remote Answer-On - Lets you call the TAD from a remote location
                             and set it to answer calls.

               Toll-Saver - Lets you avoid unnecessary toll charges when
                             you call by long distance to check your
                             messages.

   Phone Pick-Up Detection - Automatically resets the TAD if you answer a
                             call after the TAD answers.

                Cue/Review - Lets you cue or review the tape during
                             playback to find a specific message.

              Erase-Rewind - Lets you easily erase the incoming message
                             tape.

          Message Grouping - Lets you listen to new messages without
                             having to listen to old ones.

          Error Indication - Shows you when there is a problem, such as a
                             broken or full tape.

            Fixed Maximum
   Incoming Message Length - Lets the TAD record incoming messages up to
                             60 seconds long.
