The Radio Shack HS-229 Telephone On-The-Ear Headset makes many existing
home or office modular phones more flexible and easy to use.  By using
the supplied ultra-light headset while you make and receive phone calls,
you can keep your hands free to do other things.  The unit connects
easily to many phones, and the headset fits comfortably over your ear,
eliminating restrictive headbands and mussed hair.

The HS-229 also includes these features:

           Miniature Noise - Canceling Electret Condenser Microphone -
                             clearly transmits your voice and reduces
                             background noise.

         Microphone Muting - Lets you turn the headset's microphone off
                             to prevent callers from hearing you.

      Modular Jack With
      Long Connecting Cord -  Allows greater freedom of movement while you
                             use the headset, and lets you temporarily
                             disconnect the headset without removing it
                             so you can perform other tasks around your
                             home or office.

Adjustable Microphone Boom - Lets you adjust the microphone's position so
                             callers can hear you more clearly.

         Adjustable Volume - Lets you adjust the volume you hear in the
                             headset's speaker.

         Automatic Shutoff - Saves battery power.

                Lapel Clip - Lets you securely anchor the headset's
                             connecting cord to your clothing to help
