Plug the radio AC power cord into a standard AC outlet.  To operate the
radio follow these steps.

1.  Turn the VOLUME control clockwise to turn on the radio.  The tuning-
    dial light comes on.

2.  Set the FM/AM band selector to the desired band.

3.  Turn the TUNING control to the desired station.

4.  Adjust the VOLUME control to a comfortable listening level.

5.  Turn the TONE control to adjust the balance between the bass and
    treble.

6.  Turn the VOLUME control counterclockwise fully to turn off the radio.
    The tuning-dial light goes off.
