SETTING THE CLOCK

Complete these steps to set the clock.

1.  Turn on the vehicle's ignition.  Then, turn VOLUME clockwise to turn
    on the stereo.  After about 5 seconds, the display shows the clock.

2.  Press and hold down FREQ.

3.  While holding FREQ, rotate TUNING clockwise to set the minutes.

4.  Continue holding down FREQ and rotate TUNING counterclockwise to set
    the hours.

5.  When the display shows the correct time, release FREQ.


CONTROLLING THE SOUND

When you listen to your stereo, adjust the following controls to suit your
listening preferences:

         VOLUME - Rotate VOLUME clockwise to turn on the stereo and
                  increase the volume.

          FADER - If you use front and rear speakers, turn the control
                  collar to adjust the sound balance between the front and
                  rear speakers.  If you connect only one pair of
                  speakers, leave the FADER control in the center
                  position.

        BALANCE - Pull out and turn the control to adjust the balance of
                  sound between the left and right speakers.

BASS and TREBLE - Adjust BASS to increase or decrease the bass sound and
                  adjust TREBLE to increase or decrease the treble sound.

LOUD (LOUDNESS) - Push in the control to boost high and low frequencies at
                  a low volume level.
