PIR Alarm  (490-0320A)     Replacing the Fuse           Faxback Doc. # 6620

If the alarm does not work, check the fuse as follows.

1.  Unplug the alarm's power cord from the AC outlet.

2.  Remove the two screws on the battery compartment cover and pull off
    the cover.

3.  Take out the fuse from its holder and check for a blown fuse.

4.  If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse with the same type and
    rating as the old fuse (2.5A, 250V.  Radio Shack Cat. No. 270-1260).

5.  Replace the cover and secure it with the screws.

6.  Plug the alarm's power cord into the AC outlet.
