The Radio Shack SCR-59 Compact Stereo Cassette Recorder entertains you
while you keep moving.  Built-in recording capabilities for both left and
right channels provide amazing stereo reproduction for such a compact
recorder.  You can toss it in your briefcase or carry it over your
shoulder to take it with you wherever you go.

Its features include:

Built-In ALC
(Automatic Level Control) Circuit - automatically sets a perfect recording
                                    level-no need to adjust the volume
                                    while recording.

       Built-In Stereo Condenser
       Left and Right Microphones - let you record in stereo without
                                    connecting external microphones.

        Left and Right
        External Microphone Jacks - permit stereo recording with optional
                                    microphones.

                     Tape Counter - helps you quickly find a specific
                                    section on the tape.

     Automatic Shut-Off Mechanism - shuts off the recorder automatically
                                    when the tape reaches the end in the
                                    play or record modes.

     BATTERY/RECORD LED INDICATOR - shows you the condition of the battery
                                    and indicates when the SCR-59 is
                                    recording.

              Three Power Sources - let you power the SCR-59 from internal
                                    batteries, standard AC power (with an
                                    optional adapter), or your vehicle's
                                    cigarette-lighter socket (with an
                                    optional adapter).

                 Built-In Speaker - enables you to listen to tapes in
                                    monaural sound without connecting
                                    headphones.

Note:  You need a pair of headphones or amplified speakers with a 1/8-inch
       plug to listen to tapes in stereo.  You will find a wide selection
       of headphones and speakers at your local Radio Shack store.
