The new Tandy DMP-207 is a high-quality, 24-wire printer well suited to the
needs of your home or office.  The latest in a long line of industry award 
winning Tandy printers, the DMP-207 blends sophisticated styling, letter 
quality output, and versatile paper handling with exceptionally quiet 
operation.  Put it to work and the DMP-207 will quickly become your most

The DMP-207 is designed to work with all of today's personal computers in a
wide variety of applications, using either commercial software or your own 
programs.

The DMP-207 has all the features you might expect in a top-quality dot 
matrix printer as well as a vast array of other features you may not 
expect.

Built-in emulations for both Epson LQ-570 printers and the IBM Proprinter 
X24E; these emulations are value-added with a variety of unique printer 
features you won't find in an Epson or IBM printer.

  Maximum print speed for making short work of spreadsheets, long word
  processing files, and graphics; the DMP-207 prints standard draft text
  at speeds up to 240 characters per second.

  Patented noise control technology; quiet enough (only 48 dBA) for even
  the most peaceful home or office.

  Letter quality fonts in Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, Prestige, and
  Script, which are compatible with most of the other print features,
  will make your finished documents look great!

  Two resident scalable fonts--Roman and Sans Serif--can be scaled from 8
  to 40 points.

  High-resolution graphics (360 dpi X 360 dpi) for as much creativity as

AUTOMATIC SHEET FEEDER

  An automatic sheet feeder is standard in your DMP-207.  You can quickly
  and easily load a stack of 8 1/2 x 11-inch paper into the DMP-207.

  A top-of-form fine adjustment lets you change the first printing
  position, making the DMP-207 immediately suitable to your forms!

  Manual feeding allows you to print on single sheets, multi-part forms,
  and envelopes.

An optional tractor unit with a unique tear-off feature for continuous 
paper.  The tractor unit automatically advances the forms to the tear bar 
so you can remove the printed document, and then automatically returns the 
form to the top of the new page.  With this feature, you won't waste blank 
sheets, as with less-sophisticated printers.

Expand your printer's already formidable printing capabilities with a color
ribbon.  With a color ribbon (Cat. No. 26-2826), your DMP-207 can produce 
spectacular color text and graphics.

USEFUL PRINTOUTS

  Two types of helpful reference printouts: a sample page of DMP-207 print
  features and a configuration printout showing all printer settings.

  Three types of printer self-test: a sliding character test pattern, a
  printhead alignment test, and a hex dump feature for program debugging.
