Wired Intercom (430-0223A) Operation Faxback Doc. # 6706 Signalling From the Master Station 1. Leave the OFF/VOLUME control in the OFF position. 2. Choose the remote station you want to signal by setting the REMOTE switch to that station's number. Press [PUSH TO TALK] to signal that station. NOTE: You can signal all three remote stations at once by pressing [PUSH TO TALK] while the REMOTE switch is set to HOLD. Talking From the Master Station 1. Turn the master station's OFF/VOLUME control clockwise until it clicks on. 2. Set the REMOTE switch to the appropriate number to talk to one remote station, or set it to HOLD to talk to all three stations. 3. Press and hold [PRESS TO TALK] and speak into the master station's grille. 4. To listen, release [PUSH TO TALK]. You can adjust the OFF/VOLUME control as necessary to hear. Signalling From a Remote Station On a remote station, press [CALL] to signal the master station. NOTE: A call signal from a remote station can be heard at the master station only if the master station's OFF/VOLUME control is set to OFF and the REMOTE switch is set to HOLD or to the number of the calling station. Talking From a Remote Station Speak into the remote station's grille. Then, listen for the reply from the master station. NOTES: To talk, the master station's OFF/VOLUME control must be set on and the REMOTE switch set to the calling station's number or to HOLD. The remote station's [CALL] button is only for signalling.
