Game A is a standard pinball game, played with three balls. Game B is also played with three balls, but adds a moveable bar in the middle of the display for a more challenging game. NOTE: After you play a game, your previous highest score appears in the top right corner of the display each time you select that game. 4. Press the right button to select the ring pattern for your game. You can choose from eight different patterns. The object of the game is to clear all the rings in the display, and to keep the balls from falling between the flippers or down the left exit lane, just as you would in a real pinball game. 1. Press START/PAUSE to begin the game. If you turned on SOUND/LIGHT, a melody plays. 2. Press LEFT Bar to select the desired spring strength for the ball release lane. 3. Press Right Bar to release the ball. If you turned on SOUND/LIGHT, lights flash and the game vibrates as the pinball travels through the display and hits obstacles. 4. Press LEFT BAR and RIGHT BAR to operated the flippers. NOTES: If you are playing Game B, pressing the left and right buttons also moves the bar in the middle of the display. You can bounce the ball off the bar to score extra points. When you clear all the rings in the display, a new ring pattern automatically appears and the ball returns to the ball release lane. The more rings a pattern has, the faster the ball moves, which makes the play more difficult. When you clear all eight ring patterns, a special ring pattern appears. When you clear all the rings in this special ring pattern, the first ring pattern you selected reappears on the display. The game difficulty level increases and the ball moves faster. While playing the game, you can press START/PAUSE at any time to pause the game. PAUSE scrolls across the display until you press START/PAUSE again to continue the game. 5. After all three balls fall through the flipper, the game ends and GAME OVER flashes on the display. A melody plays if you turned on SOUND/LIGHT. Press ON/OFF to turn off the game. Or, you can wait for the game to automatically turn off. EARNING POINTS These are the points you earn whenever you hit or pass through obstacles. Flipper sign = 10 points Large Bumper = 20 points Small Bumper = 30 points Half Ring = 40 points Ring Pattern = 50 points Left Save Lane = 50 points Right Save Lane = 50 points Left Exit Lane = 100 points Clearing all the rings in a ring pattern scores 300 points. When you reach the maximum score of 99,999 points, the score resets to 0. You can either continue playing and scoring points from 0, or start a new game. BONUS FEATURES Each time your ball travels up the bonus lane, a bar blocking the left exit lane appears. This prevents your ball from falling through the left exit lane and out of play. The second time your ball travels up the bonus lane, the bar next to the ball release lane disappears. When your ball goes through the right save lane, it moves into the ball release lane so you can release it again into play. The third time your ball travels up the bonus lane, the three arrows in the bonus lane flash in sequence and the half ring on the right flashes. At this point, you can get one of two bonuses. If your ball hits the flashing half ring, a circle blocking the center gate appears. This prevents your ball from falling through the gate and out of play. If your ball goes up the bonus lane a fourth time, you get a bonus ball if a ball has already fallen out of play. Once you get one of these bonuses, all the bonus features reset. RESETTING THE GAME If the game is not working properly, reset it by pressing SOUND/LIGHT and START/PAUSE while the pinball game is turned on. The game score returns to 0. (CJD/all-08/17/94)
